What kind of links can I report?
Any clik.so short link you believe is being used for phishing, malware, scams, spam, impersonation, or illegal or inappropriate content. If you are unsure, report it anyway — our team will make the call. You can also report suspicious links from other sites and we will do our best to point you to the right place.
Do I need a ClikSo account to report a link?
No. Reporting is completely open and anonymous — you don't need an account, a name, or an email address. Adding your email is optional and only used to update you on the outcome of your report.
How fast do you act on reports?
Every report is reviewed by a real person, most within 24 hours. Reports about active phishing or malware are prioritized and typically handled much faster. Confirmed malicious links are disabled immediately.
Will the link owner know I reported them?
Never. Reports are confidential and anonymous by default. The link owner only learns their link was disabled for violating our terms — nothing about who reported it.
What happens to the person behind a malicious link?
Their link is disabled and shows a warning page instead of redirecting. Depending on severity, their account is suspended or permanently banned, and where required we cooperate with authorities.
I clicked a suspicious short link — what should I do?
Don't enter any passwords or personal information on the page it opened. Report the link here so we can disable it, run an antivirus scan if you downloaded anything, and change your password if you already entered credentials anywhere. You can also preview where any short link leads before clicking with our free URL Reveal tool.
What if I reported the wrong link by mistake?
No harm done. Every report is verified by a human before any action is taken, so a mistaken report will simply be closed. If you want to correct it, just submit a new report with the right link.
