Why we built clik.so
In 2025, we looked at the URL shortener market and saw a glaring problem. The existing tools were polarized: they were either free basic utilities riddled with ads, or enterprise-bloated software that cost hundreds of dollars a month.
We believed there had to be a middle ground. A tool that was beautiful to use, packed with powerful features like AI auto-slugs and deep analytics, but affordable for creators and small teams.
So we built clik.so. What started as a weekend project to scratch our own itch has grown into a platform trusted by thousands of marketers and developers worldwide.
