# Get usage

`GET https://app.clik.so/api/workspace/usage`

> **In short:** Returns how many links you created and how many clicks you got in the current monthly period, and your plan's link limit.

## You need

* **API key permission:** `read`
* **Workspace role:** viewer or higher
* **Plan:** any plan, including Free

## Common errors

| Status | Code           | When                                            |
| ------ | -------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| 401    | `UNAUTHORIZED` | The API key is missing, malformed or unknown.   |
| 429    | `RATE_LIMITED` | The key went over its per-minute request limit. |

## Good to know

* The monthly period starts on your billing day, not on the 1st. `next_reset` says when the counters start again.
* `links_created_this_month` counts links created in this period that are not deleted.
* `clicks_this_month` is what you can see in analytics. Clikso never blocks redirects when you pass the plan's click allowance.
* `plan_links_limit` is `-1` when there is no limit.
