# List free Clikso domains

`GET https://app.clik.so/api/system-domains`

> **In short:** Returns the free short-link domains every workspace can use, such as `clik.is`. Pass one as `domain` when you create a link.

## You need

* **API key permission:** `read`
* **Workspace role:** viewer or higher
* **Plan:** any plan, including Free

## Common errors

| Status | Code           | When                                            |
| ------ | -------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| 401    | `UNAUTHORIZED` | The API key is missing, malformed or unknown.   |
| 429    | `RATE_LIMITED` | The key went over its per-minute request limit. |

## Good to know

* These domains are free on every plan and do not count toward your custom-domain limit.
* `default_domain` is the one a link gets when you send no `domain` and no `custom_domain_id`.
* The list is the same for every workspace, so you can cache it.
