# Connect other AI apps to Clikso

Any AI app that takes a remote MCP server with sign-in can use Clikso. What it needs, a Devin Desktop and Windsurf example, and what an unverified app means.

> **In short:**
>
> Any AI app that can add a remote MCP server by URL can use Clikso. Paste the server URL, and the app sends you to Clikso to sign in. Apps Clikso cannot recognise show an "Unverified app" label on the sign-in page.

**Server URL:** `https://app.clik.so/mcp`

## What your app needs

* **Remote servers:** It can add an MCP server by URL. Apps that only run local servers cannot connect.
* **Streamable HTTP:** Often shown as `http` or "HTTP". The older SSE setting does not work.
* **Sign-in (OAuth):** The app opens Clikso in a browser so you can sign in. Clikso never asks for an API key here.

## The usual steps

### Step 1. Add the server

Find the MCP or connectors settings in your app. Add a new server, choose HTTP if asked, and paste `https://app.clik.so/mcp`.

### Step 2. Sign in

The app opens Clikso. Check the app name and the "Unverified app" label if there is one. Then tick the workspaces, choose what the app may do, and press **Allow access**.

## Devin Desktop and Windsurf

Add Clikso to the app's `mcp_config.json` file. In Windsurf it is `~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json`:

```json title="mcp_config.json"
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "clikso": { "serverUrl": "https://app.clik.so/mcp" }
  }
}
```

Save the file. Your browser then opens Clikso so you can sign in.

## Unverified apps

Clikso recognises Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code when they sign in through their own websites. Any other app gets an **Unverified app** label on the sign-in page. A note says "Clikso doesn't know this app. Only allow it if you trust it." It also shows the address the app will send you back to.

Apps that sign in through your own computer, like Claude Code, can get the label too. Any program on your computer could use their name, so Clikso cannot be sure.

The label does not mean the app is bad. Press **Allow access** only if you started the connection yourself, from an app you trust.

If you press **Cancel** on an unverified app, Clikso does not send you back to it. You can just close the tab.

### Good to know

* Clikso's settings apply to every app the same way, whether or not the app has its own prompts.
* Each connection shows up in Settings → AI connections under the name the app gave itself.
* Send one tool call per request. A JSON-RPC batch with more than one tool call is refused.
