# Connect Gemini to Clikso

Add Clikso to the Gemini app as a custom app, or to Gemini CLI with one command. Who can use each one, and what to do if you moved to Antigravity.

> **In short:**
>
> In the Gemini app on the web, add Clikso as a custom app. In Gemini CLI, add it with one command. Either way, Gemini opens Clikso so you can sign in and pick workspaces. The Gemini app has limits on who can add custom apps.

**Server URL:** `https://app.clik.so/mcp`

Last checked: 9 October 2026.

## You need

* **For the Gemini app:** A personal Google Account. You must be 18 or older and in the United States, with Gemini in English and Keep Activity on. You add custom apps on the web.
* **For Gemini CLI:** Gemini CLI installed, and a browser on the same computer.
* **Clikso:** Any plan, including Free.

## The Gemini app

### Step 1. Open connected apps

On gemini.google.com, open **Settings & help**, then **Connected Apps**. Under **Custom apps**, press **Add a custom app**.

### Step 2. Paste the URL

Paste `https://app.clik.so/mcp` and press **Next**. Then press **Allow**.

### Step 3. Sign in to Clikso

A Clikso page opens. Tick the workspaces, choose **View and make changes** or **View only**, and press **Allow access**.

If you do not see **Custom apps**, your Google Account may not have access to them yet.

## Gemini CLI

### Step 1. Add the server

```bash title="Add Clikso to Gemini CLI"
gemini mcp add --transport http clikso https://app.clik.so/mcp
```

Or add it to `~/.gemini/settings.json` yourself:

```json title="~/.gemini/settings.json"
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "clikso": { "httpUrl": "https://app.clik.so/mcp" }
  }
}
```

### Step 2. Sign in

In Gemini CLI, run `/mcp auth clikso`. Your browser opens Clikso to sign in.

## Antigravity CLI

In June 2026 Google moved personal Gemini CLI users to Antigravity CLI. If you use it, add Clikso to its `mcp_config.json` file:

```json title="mcp_config.json"
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "clikso": { "serverUrl": "https://app.clik.so/mcp" }
  }
}
```

Then run `/mcp` to check that it connected, and sign in when it asks.

### Good to know

* Clikso's own settings apply whatever Gemini allows. A tool set to Needs approval always sends you an approval link.
* To stop, remove Clikso in Gemini. Then press **Disconnect** in Clikso under Settings → AI connections.
