# Connect Cursor to Clikso

Add Clikso to Cursor with one click, or with a few lines in mcp.json. Then sign in to Clikso in your browser and pick your workspaces.

> **In short:**
>
> Press **Add to Cursor** below, or add Clikso to your `mcp.json` file. Cursor then opens Clikso in your browser so you can sign in and pick workspaces. No API key goes in the file.

**Server URL:** `https://app.clik.so/mcp`

## You need

* **Cursor:** Installed on this computer.
* **Clikso:** Any plan, including Free.

## Add Clikso

### Step 1. Add the server

Press **Add to Cursor** above and confirm in Cursor.

Or add it by hand. Use `~/.cursor/mcp.json` for every project, or `.cursor/mcp.json` in one project:

```json title="~/.cursor/mcp.json"
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "clikso": { "url": "https://app.clik.so/mcp" }
  }
}
```

### Step 2. Sign in

Cursor lists Clikso in its MCP settings and asks you to sign in. Your browser opens Clikso.

Tick the workspaces, choose **View and make changes** or **View only**, and press **Allow access**.

### Step 3. Try it

In Cursor's chat, ask something like "Make a short link to our changelog page."

### Good to know

* A project's `.cursor/mcp.json` holds only the URL, so you can commit it. Each teammate signs in with their own Clikso account.
* When a tool needs approval, Cursor shows a Clikso link. Open it, press **Approve**, then tell Cursor you did.
* To stop, remove Clikso from `mcp.json` or Cursor's settings. Then press **Disconnect** in Clikso under Settings → AI connections.
