# Build with Clikso

## Make a short link

Pick your language once. Every example on the site switches with it.

## How it works

* **One base URL.** Every call goes to `https://app.clik.so/api`.
* **One key per workspace.** Send it as `Authorization: Bearer clik_live_…`. Make keys in the dashboard under Settings → API. See [Authentication](https://clik.so/docs/authentication).
* **One response shape.** Every answer has `status`, `success`, `message` and either `data` or `error`. See [Requests and responses](https://clik.so/docs/requests).
* **Fair limits.** Each key can send 30 requests a minute on Free, and more on paid plans. See [Limits](https://clik.so/docs/limits).
